Rikugien – Garden

Rikugien made in 1702 (spending for 7 years to build) became one of the two major gardens of Edo with Koishikawa Korakuen. In about 87,000-square meter site, a big pond and a artificial mountain were built and many kinds of trees were planted around. Especially the visitors come to see the big weeping cherry blossom at the end of March , and the azalea from April to June.
