Ouchi Station town | 大内宿 (Ouchi jyuku)
Information :
Ouchi Station town is the ravine village located on Shimotsuke route (下野街道) connecting Nikko city and Aizuwakamatsu city. Because this town is surrounded by high mountains, people, Daimyo and Samurai used here as a place for the rest in Edo period. (1603 – 1868).
