Utsunomiya futaarayama Jinja
Two shrines have been selected as the most important shrine in Shimotsukenokuni (下野国) – most of areas are called Tochigi prefecture.? One is Utsunomiya Futaarayama Jinja (宇都宮二荒山神社) and the other one is Nikko Futarasan Jinja(日光二荒山神社). Since the chinese characters of both shrines are same, calling each differently was ordered.
For Ochouzu (water to wash hands before pray), the well of Myoujin is used. This water is set as seven clear spring waters among this area and also was used for tea for Emperor Meiji when he visited here.
